Rwenzori Founders team have been working on three large bronzes for the growing sculpture park developing around the gallery. Peter Oloya’s lifesize gorilla, Isaac Okwir’s arrival of a flight of life size guinea fowls and the 3 metre long leopard by Jon Buck.
As part of RSF’s efforts to restore the land, more than 20,000 trees have been established and we are now growing tree seedlings to help our neighbour plant on 200 acres of adjoining hillsides.
An extremely generous donation means we are expanding the clinic into a cottage hospital which has the potential to make the communities surrounding the foundation some of the best provided rural villages with health care. Although due to corona virus workshops with groups of artists have been suspended new exhibitions of sculpture are in production by Peter Oloya and Isaac Okwir and others.
